How to email entire folder contents

I have about 20 photos I want to email to my brother.

I don't want to attach these as individual files one by one so I have put them into a folder which amounts to about 7mb. I'm using yahoo to email the folder but when I come to select the folder as an attachment, it displays the folder contents so I have to attach the photos separately.

Does anyone know how to email the folder as a single item?

Put the photos into a "ZIP" file which can then be attached, although 7MB may be too large to send via email. Some ISPs have an attachment limit as small as 3MB.

The alternative is a file transfer service such as "You Send It" click here

mgmcc, thanks. I've zipped and sent it but the file extension is .rar which looks like winzip so I assume winzip can open it. The file ended up being 9.4mb when sent but the yahoo limit is 10mb which I think is the same with the other top email accounts.
