How to download articles rom WEB pages for later

  dandew 01:43 21 Apr 2004

I use IE5.5 on Win98.

I read many interesting articles with important graphics which I would like to save and/or print out. This does not work well. I save as WEB complete but loose the graphics and edit in word is no good either.

Can anyone suggest a solution

it may be that the pages you are having problems with contain java applets...

If the java applet contains an image then you wont be saving this when you save the web page complete. (As ususal, I'm open to correction on this!)

I'm not sure of how to work round this, other than with a "print screen" or similar "scrren capture function.

If it's happening all the time, then it's probably something else... sorry I have no oter suggestion!
good luck,

Create a new folder in "Favourites" and save your web pages to that.

Or to download a complete site: click here - free and opensource. It may not be what you want for this instance, but is good for small sites that you can then browse locally.

Save it as an *. mht

Save it as an *.mht , not a complete web page.
