Better in whch way?

Capability of detecting actual known viruses? - capability of detecting unknown virus types? - Ease of use? - Speed of operation? - Efficiency and speed of updating? - Responses to problems from support?

There's so many factors which make a good AV. Most AV programs these days will make a reasnably good job of detectng current actual known viruses. It's the other things that make a difference.

For the very model of a good AV click here NOD32.

For solid testing from a responsible body click here

I've used both in the past and have never found much to choose between them. Now, I've ditched them both for Avast! It's free and seems to do the job just as well with the added benefit of being less obtrusive. It just gets on with the job.
