How do you view a .tiff file?

Does anybody know how to view a .tiff file, please?

The web site that provided it to me said there was a Wang viewer provided as part of IE5, but when I search for tiff in the help, I draw a blank!

Do you have Imaging installed? It normally loads with Windows and should be under Start - Programs - Accessories.

I save all my photos in tiff format before editing. The programme I use is Adobe photoshop. There is usually demo versions available on cover disks. Apart from that I know of no way to view a tiff.

try irfanview a free downloadable graphics program viewer .....despite its free status it is an extremely capable program

available from click here

i wouldadd a second vote for irfanveiw and download the irfanview shell extension which adds an entry to the right click context menu so that you can convert an image to various file file formats from within the directory without opening an application.
