How do you stop "Windows Live Messenger" @ startup

  Sabi 13:19 08 Apr 2007

Hello everyone :-)

I use Windows XP and now have "Windows Live Messenger"

Although I've cancelled the program in "Start up" (through "msconfig") to avoid slow speed at the start up but WLM window keeps opening each time I switch on the computer!

I prefer to access it whenever I want not to see it automatically!!

Does anyone know how to do that?

Many thanks

Tools > options > general tab > untick the first box.

For some reason some things are always simple and when you want to do them you cant for the life of you work out how to do them. I did that myself a few weeks back by managing to set the log in as offline option and couldnt work out for 2 weeks how to get rid of it.
