How do I transfer data from a Kindle Fire to a pc

  indego 01:05 16 Apr 2015

Hello all,

My wife reads her email from her Kindle Fire. Yesterday she got one telling her about a scam going round. I want her to send/transfer that email to my desktop so that I can inform all my friends. How can she do that? I suspect that a special lead will be required. If that is the case, what kind of lead will she need.

Thank you in advance of suggestions.

Cant she forward it to you as an email?

As Tullie says. If you want to connect the device use the USB lead supplied.

What 'scam' is it warning about? It could be one of those chain mail fake scam warnings that get you to email everyone and clog up the system. Info on example: ClickHere

Check it out by googling part of the contents.

The alert may request you to pass on the 'warning' to 'others in your address book' or 'everyone you know'.

Hi, tullie, BT and lotvic. Sorry not to have replied sooner, I've been away.

tullie and BT. My Mrs has learned how to send email from her Kindle, but not the one from Paypal as it was eventually deleted.

lotvic. Thanks for the 'click here'. The scam made some reference to Paypal and, as previously mentioned, was deleted.

Mails and web links received on an Android device are best transferred to a PC any platform/system I is simply to re Email out for the desired PC to pickup.

This is what I do for both my Windoze and Linux machines
