how do I put a copyright C on my photos

I put my paintings on the web.click here. just really forthem to be seen. However I need to copyright them . if I need photoshop is there a cheap older version i can buy. I have elements but lost the code . linda

You use the character map and chose the and paste ©

You have to use the paint program to see the photo and select where you want to paste it.

When on the character map you select your name and any other characters you need. Take a bit of practice to get the size right so use a copy of a photo to practice.

You can use the free Serif Photoplus click here it has layers so you can just import your photo and add the text as a new layer.

I use Paintshop Pro, but I should imagine the same in any similar application. Go to your text enter facility and in the text box press Alt then type in 0169 using the numeric keypad. this should give you the © symbol.

it lookslike i have the answer on my own machine, now all I need is to study it. those tips were great I thought i'd need to spend money on a programme.
