Im using dreamweaver mx 2004, and i want to put a background image around my main work on my website.

For example, if you notice on this site (the pc advisor site), it has the blue outter background (dont have a clue what to call it exactly).

I want exactly the same style of layout.
(the different background around the main work)

All i need help for is; how do i put a outer background AROUND my main work on my site?

Sorry if i havent explained well, i dont know how to :S :)

Any questions please ask.
Thanks

You could have the page background any colour you like. In Dreamweaver (I'm using DW4) go to Modify > Page Properties.

sorry, but thats not what i mean.

I need to have the outer background colour different from the main work.
just like the pc advisor site.

What I mean is, I didn't explain too well, make the page background the colour you want, insert a layer, change the layer's background to the colour you want (from the Properties dialog box)and put your main content in the layer.

You need to style the <body> HTML tag.

body {
background: url(./images/example.gif) repeat;
}
