how do I log internet usage

  Tockholes 12:17 11 Jan 2005

I have just got broadband and as I am quite a light user, I have a cheaper, capped service. Any suggestions of a method of logging my usage so I can make sure I have the right package.

Who is your ISP? There should be a facility on their site.

ISP is Freedom2Surf, nothing apparant on their website

Have you registered and logged in to the members area? Look for something like 'View my usage'. Or email tech support.

There are third party loggers, but they're not always accurate, and may slow down the service.

If you log into your F2S account, and view "Your ADSL Details" you will see your "Capacity Usage" for the month.

Thanks folks, I knew you wouldnt let me down. The info I needed was on the website after all and I will experiment with the recommended apps.
