I run a Philips computer and have been told I need more memory but I don't know how to find out what memory I have and also how or what to do to increase it.
Thanks

Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". Under the "General" tab (it may be different with Windows XP, I have Windows 98se), you will see what processor you have as well as how much memory. To increase the amount of memory, you need to know what type you have. You could try emailing or phoning Crucial click here. But if you are worried about taking the cover off your computer, it would probably be better to take your computer to your local computer shop.

Thanks now I know I have 248MB RAM and will go on and increase it#

Amoung the computing fraternity it is considered to be the equivalent of shouting when typing everything in upper case letters. Kindly stick to lower case. Meshuga.
