How do I know if a link I post here is virus-free?

I want to post some stuff I recently found, but am worried about giving a link that may (or may not) be risky. This doesn't just refer to what I am thinking of posting, but to all links. How does one really know if anything is clean?

You can't

However, U am sure that all the forum member would not on purpose put a link down that has a virus

You have to have confidence in your own anti-virus. If, after posting, you realise summat's amiss, ask the FE to delete your post.

Okay. Thanks. I'm pretty sure what I have to post is okay - and I have good anti-virus stuff. I suppose I am just a bit nervous, being somewhat inexperienced.

Just post it. It's been a while since I gave McAfee a real test!

I recall about a month or so ago, there was such a post from a respected site, "The Register".

It was soon picked up.
