I have an acer extensa notebook and as i know they dont come with a restore cd you must make one yourself. I got this notebook from someone else who does not have the disk and the computer is in real need of being rfestored back to original settings but i cant with out a disk. how can i get a disk to do this can i order it or something else? i have no clue who to contact or anything. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. thank you all for your time.

Is there a "factory" restore option from the a hidden partition Extensa.
My ACER Aspire had this available via the Acer ERecovery utilities. Restores it to "out of the box" state.
Have you tried pressing < ALT > together with < F10 > from Windows.

Look in System Tools for the facility to create restore discs. If it has not been used, it will still be there.

Acer will send you the discs if necessary, about £40 I believe click here
