I use click here for my domain and email service. It's not even expensive. A www <yourname> .co.uk is a few pounds a year and the POP email associated with it offers 20 alias email names on the domain for under £10 a year.
As martjc says. Most ISPs allow you something like 50mb of personal web space. You have to tell them that you would like to use it. They will then give you a username and password and some instructions on how to upload to it.
It can also be password protected so that only those you want to give access to it can do so.
I am on NTL and use the free web space for family and friends. I only give out the access password to those I want to view it.
