Hiya, Ive got a little laptop ( toshiba satellite pro 400CS), the problem is, I can't access the bios as I dont know which key/s to use. Any help would be much appreciated. I've tried the DEL, and different F keys but to no avail, and I've also tried the Toshiba website for the manual but no joy.

Some keys to try click here**&p_li=

During the initial bootup often at the bottom of the screen it should give you the key(s) you need.

If you spot anything then just press the Break key to allow you to read it at your leisure, when ready to continue just press any other key.

My sequence is Ctrl+Alt+S !!!!

Crossed again LOL

I have no idea if its different on your Toshiba, but on my 2 years old Satellite 1800 it`s, press "esc" on bootup, then on prompt, F1.

I have an older Toshiba 100CS and the only way to get into the BIOS was using MS DOS.

C:\T setup

Hope this helps.
