Here are some common router addresses and their respective user names and passwords, e.g. for a Netgear router you would type into a browser window, then type ‘admin’ and ‘password’ to access it.

Belkin admin admin
BT Home Hub (or bthomehub.home) admin admin
BT Voyager 2091 (or voyager.home) admin admin
BT Voyager 2500v (or voyager.home) admin admin
3Com admin admin
D-Link admin admin
Linksys admin admin
Microsoft Broadband admin admin
Netgear admin password
Orange (Siemens) admin
Safecom admin admin
Sky (Netgear) admin sky

Thanks for that.

I forgot to say that after accessing your router, look for a section named wireless or similar wording to find out your SSID and security key.
