How do I connect a pc to a tv?

  MKHellraiser 17:40 27 Dec 2006

I have just bought an s video connection lead only to find I don't have an s-video connection on my PC (not the cleverest thing to do I admit).

How else can I connect my pc to a tv?

I have a Packard Bell 1618 imedia PC.

It appears to have onboard 256Mb ATI X550 HM Graphics that includes TV Out. See:

including S-Video out:

..or an nVidia alternative including TV Out. See:

You could try an S-Video to Scart lead, but make sure that the lead output is either two-way or from S-Video to Scart.

Don't expect Earth-shattering results from doing this - the definition of a TV screen is not nearly as good as a computer monitor.

Hi, thanks for help. I have the lead from pc to tv working now!

My only issue is screen size which I am sure I will be able to resolve.

I only wish to use this to watch football streams etc through, not play games so do not expect the quality of a monitor.
