How do I check how much RAM is being used?

My PC is painfully slow, and I read somewhere this could be caused by my RAM being nearly used up. I have 128Mb of RAM and my O/S is 98SE.
Thanks

When RAM fills up, Windows swaps files to the hard disk, which can slow the system down. However, 128 Mbytes should be enough unless you are running several programs together, or editing large photos etc.

Tell us: processor, Operating System, free hard disk space, Software Applications you are running, and what exactly you are doing that seems to be slow.
