I use windows mail in Vista and have an alias address as well as a tiscali one. I want to unsubscribe from the alias one later this year and just use the tiscali one. How do i do this?

At the moment I am having to remember to change the address in the 'from' box every time.I am sure there must be be something in tools>options, but I can't find it!

Thanks for any help.

Open Outlook and then click on Cog-wheel icon top-right, then click on More email settings, then on Managing Account - you can then click on Rename your email address.

Answer

Open Windows Mail Click on Tools Accounts Click on the account you want to use as default and select Set as default from the list on the right.

If that does not work then click on the account, select properties and tell me what the SMTP server is.

Many thanks, Jollyjohn. I's easy when you know how!
