How do I cease a redundant webmail address?

  chapeau 11:53 25 Aug 2007

I have a web address which collects around twenty plus emails a day (viagra, watches, loans etc )it is so bad that I no longer use it. I also had a PAYGO account with fsnet which I no longer use.
How do I get rid of them ?
Do they represent a risk whilst they are on my computer.
I now use a different webmail which so far has been spam free, and a different ISP

Just don't check it any more - though you could probably drop customer support a line and ask if they'd kill it. But the simplest thing to do is simply forget that it exists and if you're picking up emails from it via Outlook or similar, kill the account in Outlook so that it no longer collects mail from those accounts.

if you don't use the account for thirty days Orange will automatically close it
