how do i back up xp updates to cd

hi ,could someone tell me how to backup ms updates
im am going to do a clean install soon and i would like to backup all my updates i have sp2 on cd but i would lose any others if i cant back them up
can someone tell me how to go about doing this

Download the AutoPatcher XP December 2005 Edition from the link Skyver has gave, then download the update to January 2006 from click here

You just "install" (it just extracts the files, doesn't really install anything) to seperate folders.. Then overwrite all the December files with the January version...

I have been using this tool for a couple of months now, and find it to be very useful. I have used it about 10 times so far... It is brilient....

If you are on Broadband, then do a clean install of XP, load SP2 and all relevant updates from WindowsUpdate.

Then use something like TrueImage or Norton Ghost and keep an image of the disk.
