What is the best way to permanently disable the ability to use a laptop to access the internet, e via Lan AND wifi so that it can't be 'very easily' reversed but can be reversed if needed at a later date.

Is the best way to disable both hardware devices in the Bios and put a Bios password on?

That would work if you had those options in the BIOS.

What are the best methods if the Bios doesn't offer this ?

Do you not have LAN/Wifi drivers you can disable?

Yes, I'm just checking the options available to do such a thing and can then choose the best.

Go to device manager and select each device seperatley. Right click it and select disable.

When you want to use them go back and enable them.

You could remove the wifi card from the laptop. Drivers etc can easily be re-enabled by who ever you don't want to use the wireless connection.

Usually located on top of the RAM,found under a removable flap on the underside. WiFi Card has two wires connected to it that connect to the aerial built around the display. Release card by pulling catch on the frame holding each side of the card and pull card out carefully. Reinsert when you want to use wifi in the future.
