How did I get a 'Trojan Dropper'?

  Halmer 16:22 01 Jul 2008

I ran a full Ad Aware scan today for the first time and it picked up a trojan with a rating of 10 which is the highest I think.

Can't ever recall having one before but I've quarantined it. Nothing else (AVG, Antispyware etc) picked it up.

How would this have landed on my PC? What have i done wrong?

There are many ways, visiting a bad website, file-sharing, dodgy downloads, the list is long.

as well. Given that they have identical software loaded is it more likely that I have loaded it this way?

I deleted it on one of my PCs rather than putting it into quarantine.

Is this likely to give me a problem and should I do a system restore to the last point?

Use the computer as normal, to see if you get adverse effects before you do any more

to do with Adobe Flash Player Plug. If deleted advice is to simply reinstall the plug in. Ad-Aware have corrected in latest definitions update.
