How to delete some stubborn cookies

I want to delete all the cookies on my windows 98. I went to C:\windows\ temp.internet files\cookies and most of them I could delete except of 5 or 6 like : + centrica.usertracking +
I am 65 and not very PC Litterate, can someone please tell me how to delete these cookies.

In Internet Explorer go to Tools/Internet Options and click the button to delete Temp Files. You could also click the Settings button, and delete any that are left in there when you click View Files.

Some, for some reason do stay for a while before they can be deleted though.

Try doing it from Internet Explorer: Tools-> Internet Options, General -> Delete Cookies and Delete Files. This should clear the lot for you.

If not, come back and we'll see what else we can do.
