In the past, on this Forum, I have read people recommending that to speed up a slow computer; a person should create a new restore point using Restore Point in System Tools and then delete all previous Restore Points. Sounds like a good idea but how can I delete all previous Restore Points? FYI, I use Windows XP (SP2). Any advice given is great appreciated.
first I would suggest you sp3 unless you are operating xp 64bit which only got as far as sp2. One way is to right click on my computer then properties then go to the system restore tab and take the tick out of monitor my hard drives. This will get rid of all of them. reboot and then go back and put the tick back in and make a restore point.
