how to connect printer wifi unit.

I am thinking of getting a wireless adapter for my printer to save keep unplugging the printer from the desktop and connecting the laptop.

My questions are this,
Does the adapter need a power supply or does it draw it from the USB connector.
Do I need another printer cable or will the one I have connected at present still fit the wireless adapter.
I will figure out how to set it up once I make up my mind to buy one.
Oh! and what price would you pay for a reasonable one for Vista machines.
Ruskle. With thanks in advance for replies.

“I am thinking of getting a wireless adapter”

What you need is a Wireless printer server not a wireless adapter

Thank you ambra4, yes that's what I want but I used the wrong name for it.
I will have a look again at the instructions on the site you pointed me to and maybe send of for one.
It does appear not to need a seperate power supply so I wont be having a cluttered desk.

Thanks again,
Ruskle
