How to connect laptop to the Internet wirelessly?

  lbenson 15:54 18 Jan 2006

I will be traveling and want to be able to connect my laptop to the Internet with a wireless connection. I have a 3 year old IMB ThinkPad, Pentium 4 running Windows XP. Any advice will be great! Thanks!

Your laptop will need a wireless lan card either USB or pcmcia.

If you already have a router then you can buy a wirless access point that connects by LAN cable or, change the router for a wireless ready model.
