When I press the down cursor on the address/URL toolbar in Internet Explorer, there is a selection webpages that I have visited in the past. How can I clear this history. I've tried looking in various temporary directories but have failed to find it. Can anyone help?

Or for less hassel you could just click on Tools, Internet Options, and choose to clear history

Tangy,

to get rid of the drop down menu, click on tools-internet options-content-autocomplete and untick "use AutoComplete for web Addresses".

Hi: go to Tools>InternetOptions>ClearHistory in the clear history section change number of days to 0 (zero), then click apply. This will completely clear the current history. Then reset number of days to 7.

Cheers.
