How to change Works WP style

  Trikie 11:52 28 Nov 2007

For some unkown reason Works word processor has changed the way it shows the "st, nd and th" that follow 1, 2 3 etc.

Previously they have been on the line like this - 1st, 2nd 3rd - but are now raised to the top of the number, which results in the line spacing having to be wider.

I can't find anything in the Tools Style or Format menus to change it back. Can anyone please help?

I have MS Works and Ms Office but that effect only happens in MS Word not Works. It isn't a problem to me as the Superscript does not go above the actual figure so the line spacing remains the same.

A suggestion: highlight the offending number and then go to Format, Font and if there is a tick in Superscript and Subscript remove them.

Thanks pj123.

Neither were ticked so I ticked and then unticked them but no joy.
