Anyone know how to ammend text on a doc opened with acrobat reader?

Not directly, unless you have Acrobat Writer. The only way I can think of is to print it, then scan the print with an OCR program.

Highlight the doc copy and paste into Word is one way.

The product is only amendable by the originator.

As suggested, you can "cut and paste" into any word processor but, of course, it will then be obvious that it has been altered.

there is a little hand toolbar that allows you to cut and paste into Word if I recall.

As has been said earlier - Adobe cannot be altered unless you have Writer I think.

it's next to the hand on mine and is a little 'T' for text
