How can I test my graphics card?

I have been using my Dell XP420 for 10 months with an ASUS monitor, I bought a HP 2228 last week and connected evrything updated drivers etc. Then after a few days the monitor did not work.

There are dual DVI outputs on the graphics card so I am using the spare one which works ok.

Can I test the card in any way, or do you think its faulty?

Thanks

Ian

Apart from:

as gary2112 suggests, give your system a full check at:

It will indicate any problem areas.
