How can I remove Bluetooth thats damaged

  Killo Bite 13:56 22 Dec 2007

In XP Control Panel their is a BlueTooth Icon which arrived when daughter installed her Samsung Mobile Phone. It has never worked using the PC and their is nothing listed in Device manager that I noticed or in Add/Remove Programmes.

I used a Registry cleaner and removed the Start-up line for Bluetooth device yet the Bluetooth icon is still showing in control panel and I suspect its still installed

I am also getting random Blue screen in the dekstop with IRQ_Not Equal Too or LEss than (Something similar to that. Then after the blue screen it automatically reboots the pc. so annoying.

I have replaced the Nvidia AGP Driver with new download, Check their are no overheating ot failed fans and all other things seem to be fine, oh and no infections.

Jf you've removed any folders that may contain bluetooth from the computer, you can try running ccleaner

It may just clean out the remainder that are not being used.

Just a thought.

Hide the icon with TweakUI, it's a built-in icon anyway (bthprops.cpl). click here
