How can I fix table size in Word 2003

  Evolution 09:59 27 Feb 2010

I want to set up a table in a word document (2003)for text entry, which has to be a certain size and will not expand if a user attempts to enter additional text.

How can I fix the table size?

Any help would be really appreciated.

In 2002 you select the table, right click and go to properties. On the first tab you can set several options including the size of the table. Also set the cells not to "Expand" etc

As Taff™ says you can stop the table expanding down the page by fixing its height, but I don't think that you can stop someone typing extra text into the cell, even if you can't see it because it has flowed out of the bottom of the box.
