Does anybody know how to do this?,I am on Vista basic on a qwerty uk keyboard if this helps.
I need it to go on microsoft word 2003 so that i can do a division sum and print it out.
Thanks in advance.

This isn't as easy as it might sound.

I've not looked through ALL the fonts (symbol sets) on my PC, but the "standard" ones don't include the traditional "divided by" symbol we all learnt at school.

You may have to just use the newer, and just as recognisable, backslash character / for division, it has become just as acceptable as the older one.

if above dont work:

No Character Map with XP ??
Once the character is copied you can paste (Ctrl V) throughout your doc. Anyway, it is only a little app to have minimised. ÷÷÷÷÷
