In 2nd row down (advancesd settings I think) change 1st boot device to cdrom by using the page up/down button.

Depends on the BIOS version you have.

"invalid disk reboot in a:. " Do you have a floppy disk in the drive? If so is it a Win98 boot disk? If not take it out.

Switch the PC on and immediately start tapping DELETE until the BIOS appears.

If this doesn't work tell us the make and model of the PC. It might need a different key.

Try putting a blank floppy disk in and switch on. You system will stop with an error message like "Missing Operating System....." It might also tell you what key to press to get into the BIOS. Something like, Press F1 to continue, F2 to enter setup. Alternatively, you could try switching on and keep tapping Del and F2 alternately.

An added thought. Even if you do manage to change it to boot from the CD the CD Rom has to be a Boot CD. Why do you want your PC to boot from the CD anyway? If it already has Win 98 installed.
