We have a Zoom router/modem - zoom x45551 series 1011 if that helps.

My son wants to connect his wii to the internet and we are unable to find the zoom settings. We have tried click here and also 192.168.10.3

Can anyone help and advise please?

Are you connecting through the Ethernet cable or USB ?

This seems a strange problem to me as the router is obviously working due to the fact you are able to post.

I would just like to clarify that you are using this router at the moment to connect to the internet before giving further advice.

Yes the Zoom modem/router is connected to the internet, it plugs in a usb port in a computer using Windows XP and also into the adsl socket. We also have a Netgear Access point and the other computers (XP)have either wireless cards inside or usb adpaters. The wii presumably has a wireless card in it.

Have you tried using the zoom web console on your desktop to access the settings, yet it does seem very strange to me that the ip address you linked above dosent work.

Go to Start / Run and type cmd

When you get the command prompt up type:

ipconfig

should get something like (but maybe not the same):

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

Check out the last line, "Default Gateway" that maybe your routers IP address, unsure as its connected via USB.

Try click here - I think this is the IP for Zoom routers.
