How to block IP address

Hi,

Many thanks for taking the time to read this thread.

My BT home hub is being used by someone however this "someone" is not visible on BThomehub manager yet is visible on Mcafee (the manage network and also the Log). Unfortunatley I do not know how to block this person off, the IP adress he is using is 192.168.1.253.

The normal methods used to prevent "unwanted guests" from connecting to your wireless network are (a) to encrypt it, preferably using WPA, and (b) to use MAC address filtering, so that only those wireless adapters whose MAC address has been entered in the router's settings can connect to it.
