You can place them in a suitably named (and dated) folder with XP's Backup and then burn the files in sequence on to CD-Rs according to how they fit on each disk.

Alternatively, drag and drop the files into a folder(s) created in Nero and burn each sequence when the disk is full. You'll need at least three folders and CD-Rs (six preferably with a backup of each backup) if you can fit them in a convenient form.

Naming and dating each disk properly is important.

I have never backed up everything on my computer but I have ALWAYS backed up religiously my Data Files i.e. the work files I create.

It may be inconvenient but everything else can be reinstalled from your Windows Xp disc and your other Application discs.

So you probably only require a few CD's for Data backup.
