How to access the BIOS in XP home

I knew how to do it in 98SE, but just continously pressing the delete key doesn't appear to work in XP Home, what's the procedure? TR

Your OS has nothing to do with your BIOS. If you just used to press "delete", then thats how you should do it now. If you wait til you hear a bleep when turning your PC on, then press del you should be in.

Sorry thought that was Safe Mode you were asking for... (got it on the brain)

seancblack is correct. The BIOS key is linked to the hardware and not the software. If you have the same motherbaord then it'll be the same key (delete)

Yes, that looks like it F1 or F10. Sorry should have said it was a new PC, so that's why pressing delete didn't work. Thanks All TR
