Hotmail - Error on Page - Can't open links

  wee eddie 07:14 04 Feb 2004

As of mid evening yesterday.

I have been getting this when my mouse hovers over a link. Either mail, or for instance, the Help button. But not Options ot the ability to tick an item and delete it.

After I have signed in. A little yellow triangle with exclamation mark. Javascript is frequently mentioned.

Error on Page CPH ('PIM-Inbox')

Any one got any ideas?

I started getting problems with Hotmail from yesterday evening too. All of a sudden I would get logged out for no apparent reason, then wouldn't be allowed back in for 5-10 minutes.

I am set for automated M$ Windows Updates.

One downloaded and was installed last night, but I can't be sure that their related.

Guess who didn't create a Restoration point before doing it.

Help. I can see my mail but when I click it it tells me page unavailable.

Doesn't happen in my Yahoo mail

I'm having a similar problem.

I can get into my account no problem but then in my inbox I can't open my mail.

I hover my cursor over the mail and I get a javascript error message in the bottom of my browser.

I click and nothing happens.

Any ideas?? Problems with Hotmail???

I can't find anyway to contact Hotmail/msn to ask them why!

I tried my weekend Restore Point and it made no difference.

Any Ideas???

I am sure that there must be some way of reporting the problem!

Thats exactly what I get.

Must be a hotmail problem.

Open "Fix a Bug" in another window.

Copy the Address bar: javascript:G('/cgi-bin/dasp/links_shell.asp?matter=reporter&nonavpage=1')

Close that window.

Remove all after the / in the sites Hotmail Address Bar then paste in the "Fix a Bug" address but removing everything outside the bracket.

Having said that, "msn" are about as fast as the Inland Revenue with Tax Rebates.

So don't hold your breath.

It's good to know your not alone!
