just bought and installed p4 2.0 on a jetway 4x4daz motherboard, when i start some times the cpu temp is 91c other times its about 31-33c
on 91c i have to shut down and restart some times twice to get temp down is this a fault on the board or have i not put the fan on well enough or wat

The sudden and immediate increase in temperature on boot-up then cooling would suggest incorrect contact or lack or thermal paste between CPU and heatsink.

This will need attention straight away, otherwise you will damage the CPU!

Check that the fan is working all the time and that it is correct for the processor. If so, check that the plastic cover on the heat transfer pad has been removed from the base of the fan. 91c is too too hot.
