Hello shawnster8,the way to use your log is to post it in click here just register free, follow the instructions on posting logs, and you'll find that one of the experts in there will help all they can.
It may take a while,so be patient.Meanwhile, you may find someone here in the forum with more specific help.

Or if you would like to try the automatic analysis post it click here and you will get a good, but not necessarily perfect, indication of problems.

  sean-278262 14:28 02 Aug 2006

click here

Not sure if thats the same thing but it is one I have been being driven mad to remove of late. 3 systems in 2 weeks!

  p;3 17:40 02 Aug 2006

it is strongly advised that HJlogs are NOT posted on the automatic results sites; if you value your machine, allow a human to read and interpret the results, as happens on the malaware forum; mealwhile, suggest the thread poster does as suggested and registeres with the malaware forum to have an accurate log interpretation ;

  johndrew 12:49 03 Aug 2006

I am uncertain who `strongly advised that HJlogs are NOT posted on the automatic results sites` but as I said `you will get a good, but not necessarily perfect, indication of problems.`

I have used the site several times to get an indication of a result. Where the indications are substantiated they are reasonably good; where there is no subtantiation I look elsewhere. This saves the time of human volunteers at other sites and hence speeds up necessary responses.

  VoG II 13:38 03 Aug 2006

I agree wholeheartedly with P;3 - automatic results sites flag up essential Windows processes as 'nasties', similarly innocent items like printer drivers. A novice could well wreck their machine if they followed the automatic fix indications.

  p;3 22:25 03 Aug 2006

and anyone else who is concerned about my comments re the on line HJT log readers

hopefully this link

click here
if I have got my search right; will take you to a thread explaining why the on line scanners are really a NO NO if you value your pc and its health ; the link contains some well-known and respected forum members" names that many forum members will recognise

I put MY HJT log throuhg the on line scanner for the sheer hell of it IT told me amongst other things that my VNC is a malaware and needs removing ; I stand by my comments that the online scanners are a NO NO if you value the life and workings of your machine and I will NOT trust them AT ALL

( and thanks to Vog for YOUR comments::))
