Hide drives?

  Taurus 13:06 20 Feb 2005

Hi everyone, I have just set up a user area on my machine (xp pro)for my daughter with limited access. I would like to hide two of the four drives in the machine, or if not hide then deny access to them from within her area but not mine.(I have admin rights of course) Any help regarding how to do this would be appreciated.

Make sure that both you and your daughter have separate password-protected log-ins.

Right-click on the drive you want to protect and click Sharing and Security. Top box in Local sharing and security is Make this folder private. Check the box.
