Hepl!!! computer want to shut down!

Hi can any one help?? I have athlon 1800+ running windows xp. I have AOL broadband. recently the computer come with message saying that the unit have to shut down because of NT AUTHORITY SYSTEM. AND SOMETHING LIKE ' REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL(RPC)'. it gives one minute to save the work. then restart the computer!! Any advice??

You have got the Blaster virus.

First Start, Run and type

shutdown -a

and click OK. This will give you more time.

Next, get the MS Patch. Without it you'll be reinfected every time you connect: click here

Then run either Stinger click here or the Norton removal tool click here

As VoG says, you've got Blaster. Download Stinger as VoG advised; but before running it, disable System Restore to delete any restore points, run Stinger and when given the all clear, re-activate System Restore.
