Hi there,

I really hope one of you experts out there can help me ppppsssseeee!

Basically i purchased a new wireless printer, i have installed it onto my pc and it works wirelessly etc no problem at all. HOWEVER my laptop is a different story. I could not use the cd provided as for some reason my cdrom drive stopped working recently, the cd whirres around etc but the laptop does not find it plus it does not appear under my computor. anyway i therefore downloaded via the HP website. I have set up fine for wired but for some reason the laptop will not connect wirelessly with the printer, i have an orange livebox and i have vista on my laptop.

it is either a firewall issue or somehow you have not entered the correct ssid password etc.

This might explain things a bit easier for you Tracey - Vista isn't the easiest O.S. to Network.
