The difference between the two is in the CPU and the graphics card, If you look here, you'll see that the 8570 is said to be 'noticeably better' than the 8470. If gaming performance is important to you, the extra £40 would probably be money well spent.
Rumpelteazer: oh, I hadn't picked that up. Does the 'D' mean the graphics are integrated on the motherboard, then? But you're right: onboard graphics for anything but the most trivial gaming is pretty much a no-no.
