Your help is needed please.

My XP pro PC (with McAfee anti-virus, firewall, Adaware, spybot)has started to display unwanted windows in IE. Most are just annoying adverts, but some are porn.

Adaware and Spybot can't find anything.
Google pop-up-stopper can't stop them.

How can I get rid of them, and how can I stop this from happening again. I thought I had everything covered!!

Can't let the kids use the pc until the problem has gone, and there is homework to be done. (Its the best excuse they have had for ages!!!)

Have you tried 'Kill the Messenger' ?

Make sure that you have the most up-to-date definitions and versions of Adaware and Spybot S&D,also consider downloading Microworlds anti-virus toolkit click here

Before you scan with these you should also clear all temporary file directories.click here is a powerful free tool that will do that for you.Just be aware that its standard clean up will clear all cookies too.

Eastender - the problem is caused by Internet explorer windows appearing. Is this the same as 'Windows Messenger service'?

No they are different. However, it is worth turning off Messenger Service unless you actually have a use for it. click here

Disabling messenger has not solved the problem.

Adaware and spybot tell me there are no newer updates.

Any more ideas?

I have downloaded a program called Spyware Doctor. This has solved the problem. Thanks for your help.
