Help required understanding my manual

  wrg 14:36 20 Apr 2007

Under the spec for my laptop there is a heading for "Communication" which reads as follows
High speed 56K Modem
10/100 Lan Ethernet Intergrated
One type I, II, or III pc card slot. Cardbus enabled.
Can anyone explain to me what this means

I think it means that you have a 56K Modem installed ( to connect to the internet via a telephone line)
you also have a 10/100 lan Ethernet connection that is part of the motherboard (not a separate card)(to connect to the internet via broodband)
and your pci card slot is type 1 and type 2 and type 3 compatible and it is also Cardbus enabled ( all different types of plug in cards that can also be used to connect to the internet or other devices)

Thanks for your repsonse. I assume the ethernet connects to broadband via a router? and not wirelessly (not sure I spelt that correct)
