Help on removing Heat-sink and Fan

Hi Since my fan started to get noisy I have investigated and the heat-sink is rater clogged up I want to remove it and clean it, its on a 478 board and looks like

I have given a light turn on the plastic lugs about a half turn but its still firm any help would be appreciated on removal.

Probabilitydrive, thats a great way to give anyone confidence, thanks also for all other advice it was the paste holding it firm also I hadnt lifted the lugs to free it I would have blasted as you sugested skidzy if not for the show Also Fruit Bat /\0/\ who has helped me many times in the past many thanks.
