Help with Radeon 2400 please

  Hedders83 16:03 01 Feb 2008

I have treid to replace my 9800 pro with a Radeon 2400 agp card. I have a gigabyte k7 triton motherboard, the card fits but there is nowhere to plug the vga cable in. Do I need this or have I bought a card that is incompatable with my PC. I explained this at the store and they said the card would be OK. Cheers

There should be an adaptor included for card to take a vga cable.

If you have DVI connection on your monitor, VGA is not needed - if no DVI on monitor, it's back to the shop for you methinks.

sorry guys what I mean was the 4 pin power adapter on the card itself, I assume it does not need the extra power and can cope with my motherboard as it is?
