Does anyone have any idea how to remove the keyboard from an Acer Aspire 1300, I need to replace the power pin after one of the disabled kids I foster knocked my sons laptop off the table and broke the pin...any help will be gratefully received
As a postscript to Dan the Confused's post. I don't know about the Acer but on some laptop designs, in order to remove the panel above the keyboard you need to free it by pushing a paperclip or similar into a hole in the rear, much like freeing a stuck CD drive. I needed to do this with a 'medion' notebook to get at the memory slot - and its a bit less scary than it sounds!
